A growing Software Product Development company based in Toronto with a presence in Canada and the USA is seeking a highly strategic Talent Management Lead.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT recruitment with the ability to proactively source Technical talent through referrals from employees, job applicants, and Search.

Key responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment (70%)
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for Data Engineers, Software Developers, and related IT skills from candidates with Work authorization in Canada.
- Develop talent pipelines for IT skills based on anticipated/projected demand from Technology Leads in the company..
- Maintain active relationships with our 50+ employees to seek referrals and recommendations.
- Drive candidate engagement through Recruiter, networking, referrals, and direct sourcing.
- Use the Recruiter App (Very key)



and attract candidates using our professional network to screen applicants and search to find potential new hires for the company's growing Software Talent needs.
- Conduct pre-screening interviews and understand the unique needs, strengths and weaknesses of applicants.
- Schedule Technical Interviews with the Tech Leads and Department heads for final interviews. Guide applicants through the hiring process and ensure a positive experience.
- Work closely with Executives and other stakeholders to understand success factors and develop effective recruiting strategies
- Lead negotiating salary, key responsibilities, and other terms of employment.
- Manage multiple high-priority 3 to 5 requisitions simultaneously.

HR (30%)
- Onboarding and Orientation: Proper onboarding aids in ensuring that new employees settle in the company within a short time. The HR Role in the IT Company is the establishment of formal orientation, mentoring systems, and effective communication regarding organizational policies.
