Company Description The Decade Coordination Office for Ocean Data Sharing promotes sustained digital interoperability among data, information, and digital knowledge generated by initiatives across the Ocean Decade. It convenes diverse digital stakeholders from different regions, organizational scales, and capacity levels to build a coherent and collaborative digital ecosystem. Through negotiated agreements and co-development, the Office supports transparent, accessible, and high-quality ocean data sharing. Its work is focused on enabling effective use of ocean-related information for science, policy, and public benefit. Role Description The Zookeeper is a full-time, on-site role based in Ranchi, responsible for the daily care, welfare, and supervision of animals housed within the facility. This role involves feeding animals, monitoring health and behavior, maintaining enclosures, and ensuring clean, safe, and enriching habitats. The Zookeeper will observe and record animal behavior,



report health concerns to veterinary staff, and support routine medical checks and treatments as directed. The position includes assisting with habitat design, enrichment activities, and species-specific care plans, while following established protocols and safety procedures. The Zookeeper may also contribute to educational or outreach activities by sharing accurate information about wildlife care and conservation with visitors and partners.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Animal Care and Animal Handling for a range of species.
Knowledge of Zoology and Wildlife, including basic ecology and conservation principles.
Ability to observe, document, and interpret Animal Behavior to support welfare and enrichment.
Experience maintaining clean, protected animal enclosures and following health and safety protocols.
Relevant formal education or training in zoology, animal science, wildlife management, or a
