Role: Trading Support Engineer

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trading Applications Specialist to join our energetic team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation of our trading platforms, providing essential support to our trading desks and enhancing the trading systems on continuous basis. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a solid understanding of trading operations, allowing them to troubleshoot issues actively, maintain system stability, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our trading environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide first and second-level support for all trading applications, systems, and related infrastructure.
Familiarity with trading systems and Exchange connectivity. Capable of identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact operations.
Liaise directly with trading desk to resolve inquiries, troubleshoot problems, and provide status updates.
Provide support during Internal Audits, Exchange Certifications, and Mandatory Exchange Mock Participations.




Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deploy new applications, system upgrades, and patches.
Oversee the closure of issues reported by users in close coordination with various internal teams and with Vendors.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
Manage the version controls of trading applications.
Closely work with Application vendors to resolve issues related to production or product and system enhancements.
Manage different environments like DEV/TEST/UAT.

Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in within the Indian financial services industry, with exposure to trading systems (Greeksoft, uTrade, NPrime, Kambala, Omnesys, etc)
Familiarity with Indian trading setups such as CTCL environment, DMA, Algo trading, NEAT, and BOLT.
