Our client is a well-established Spain-based international manufacturer of high-performance textile and material solutions for the footwear industry, serving customers across international markets.
Our materials are used by manufacturers and brands in the fashion, safety, occupational and technical footwear sectors. We work closely with footwear manufacturers, purchasing teams, product developers and technical teams to develop and supply materials that meet demanding performance and design requirements.
We are hiring on behalf of our client and are now looking for an experienced Sales Representative based in Chennai to develop and manage its customer base in the region.
About the Role
This is a B2B sales role focused on textile fabrics and materials.
The ideal candidate must have previous professional experience in the textile/fabric industry, preferably in sales, business development, merchandising or customer management.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with textile and footwear manufacturers,



presenting our materials, following up on developments and samples, negotiating commercial opportunities and supporting customers throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Develop recent B2B customers and business opportunities in Chennai and surrounding industrial areas.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
Visit textile manufacturers, footwear manufacturers, exporters, buying offices and other relevant industrial customers.
Present our client's textile and material solutions to customers.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable materials.
Coordinate sample requests, product developments, quotations and follow-ups.
Work closely with customers' purchasing, development, production and technical teams.
Follow up on new product developments from sampling through to commercial orders.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines.
