Role Description The Interior Designer at HomeLane will collaborate with clients to understand their lifestyle, preferences, and functional needs, translating them into thoughtful design concepts. This full-time, on-site role in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region involves creating layouts, mood boards, and material selections, and preparing detailed drawings and presentations for residential projects. The Interior Designer will coordinate with project managers, vendors, and contractors to ensure designs are executed accurately, on schedule, and within budget.



Daily tasks include client meetings, site visits, reviewing construction progress, and adjusting designs as needed to maintain quality and design intent. The role also requires staying updated on interior trends, products, and technologies to continually enhance design solutions.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Interior Design and FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) for residential spaces, with an eye for aesthetics and functionality.
Robust Space Planning skills to optimize layouts, circulation, and zoning within different types of homes.
Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read, create, and coordinate technical plans.
Experience working on-site with contractors and vendors to oversee implementation and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Familiarity with design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
