Job Purpose:
To ensure the efficient and effective planning of audits across the aviation organization, the Audit Planning Lead will be responsible for developing comprehensive audit plans , coordinating activities, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of audits across various operational areas.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Strategic Audit Planning
- Work closely with the Lead - QMS Auditing to develop a strategic audit planning framework that aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements .
- Develop the annual audit plan , coordinating with the Lead - QMS Auditing to define the frequency, scope, and objectives of various audit types.
- Prepare regular audit progress reports , highlighting resource allocation, updates, and timelines.

2. Audit Scope & Objectives Definition
- Define the scope and objectives of each audit, collaborating with the audit team and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure the audit plan covers all relevant operational areas , including stations, airports, corporate functions, safety protocols, etc.




- Regularly review findings from previous audits to identify recurring issues or areas requiring attention in the current audit cycle.

3. Monitoring & Coordination
- Monitor the progress of ongoing audits, ensuring adherence to timelines and identifying challenges or delays.
- Liaise with department heads and operational teams to communicate audit schedules, objectives, and expectations.
- Establish explicit criteria and performance indicators for assessing compliance and process effectiveness.

4. Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Lead teams in analyzing historical audit data , industry trends, and emerging issues to enhance audit effectiveness.
- Gather feedback from auditors and stakeholders to improve the audit planning process and increase its efficiency.
