- Education : B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
- Experience : 2–5 years in plastic automotive trim component design
- CAD Tools : Proficient in CATIA V5 / CREO / NX (Part Modeling, Surfacing, Sheet Metal, Assembly, Drafting)
- Surface Design : Advanced surfacing for aesthetic and functional parts
- Industry Exposure : Automotive product design & development
- Technical Focus : Structural parts like chassis frames, swing arms, etc.
- NPD Involvement : Hands-on experience in New Product Development
- Plastic Parts : Solid 3D & 2D design skills in plastic components
- Performance Standards : Ensure fit, finish, durability, NVH compliance
- Collaboration : Coordinate with teams & suppliers for specs and delivery
- Engineering Principles : GD&T;, DFMEA, DFM/DFA knowledge
- Standards Knowledge : Familiar with ISO & ASME norms
- Feasibility : Experience in manufacturability and assembly studies
- Manufacturing Knowledge : Tooling, molding, die casting, 3D printing
- Soft Skills : Strong communication & report writing abilities
- Analysis Tools : Familiar with FEA & MBD
