Primary Responsibilities:
Independently carry out Civil design activities such as preparation of design calculations / design sketches / checking of drawings for various type of structures like pipe racks, technological structures, process buildings, substations, tank farms, drainage systems, control rooms, non-plant buildings, equipment foundation, etc.
Should have expertise in Agile Analysis of Machine Foundations & Modular Structure Design.
Functions: (following experience would be added advantage)
Experience of working on international projects in multi-office execution / work-share environment Proficiency in one or more of the special design areas like dynamic analysis, blast resistant strutures, pre-cast construction, machine foundations, underground design, etc Manhour control, progress reporting. Exposure to ISO certified quality systems.




Civil Engineering degree is a must.
Minimum 20+ years in Civil Department of an consultancy organisation or technical services department of a Refinery / Petrochemical / Fertiliser / Chemical plant , out of which minimum 8 years should be experience in detail engineering of process plants.
Proficiency in use of analysis / design softwares like STAAD-pro, familiar with codal provisions for design of RCC and steel structures.
Proficiency in international codes like American , Euro, Canadian or British. Familiarity with tender preparation, technical bid evaluation, cost estimates, calculation of preliminary and final BOQ, etc.
