Role Description The Launch Video Editor is a full-time remote role responsible for creating high-impact video assets that introduce OpenTrade to new audiences and support product launches. Day-to-day work includes editing raw footage into polished launch videos, teasers, and social clips; selecting and arranging audio, visual, and narrative elements for clear storytelling; and collaborating with founders, designers, and marketers to define concepts and key messages. The role also involves color grading, adding motion graphics and visual elements,



and adapting content for multiple platforms and aspect ratios. The Launch Video Editor will manage production timelines, maintain a consistent visual style, and iterate quickly based on feedback to deliver launch-ready content.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for short-form and launch-focused content.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and a polished, professional look.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, overlays, and visual effects that enhance storytelling.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
Experience crafting launch or product announcement videos for startups, tech products, or consumer apps is beneficial.
