Role Description This is a full-time, in office Resident Doctor role based at NIL RATAN SIRCAR MEDICAL COLLEGE in Kolkata. The Resident Doctor will provide direct patient care, including history taking, clinical examination, ordering and interpreting investigations, and assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities include drafting clinical notes, preparing discharge summaries, monitoring patients in wards and emergency areas,



and responding to clinical calls under the supervision of senior medical staff. The role involves participating in clinical rounds, implementing treatment plans, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and infection control practices, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. The Resident Doctor is also expected to engage in academic activities such as case presentations, clinical meetings, and continuous medical education sessions.
Qualifications
Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution and valid registration with the appropriate medical council.

Ability to interpret laboratory investigations, imaging studies, and other diagnostic reports accurately and promptly.
