This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Security Engineer (Support) based in India.
This is a fully remote opportunity for a security-focused professional supporting information security operations across a distributed organization.
You will manage security tickets, perform initial incident triage, and help ensure issues are resolved within established service levels.
The role combines technical support, security operations, access management, monitoring, documentation, and process improvement.
You will collaborate closely with security, IT, engineering, and GRC teams while serving as an important first point of contact for security events.
The position offers the prospect to strengthen security processes, automate repetitive tasks, and build practical knowledge through real-world incidents.
Success requires strong troubleshooting, organization, communication, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
The role can be performed from anywhere in India,



with occasional travel to Hyderabad for planned events.

Accountabilities
Manage the information security ticketing process, ensuring tickets are accurately logged, categorized, prioritized, assigned, monitored, and resolved within established SLAs.
Serve as the initial point of contact for security events, conducting Tier 1 triage and escalating relevant incidents to the Security Operations team.
Provide technical support to employees and internal teams on security-related issues and assist with deploying and configuring security tools according to established procedures.
Investigate security alerts and technical issues, document resolutions and workarounds, and contribute to a knowledge base for recurring problems.
Review and improve ticket-management processes, including prioritization, escalation, resolution procedures, and reporting.
