This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Patent Litigation Consulting (High-Tech IP) based in India.
This is a senior leadership prospect focused on guiding high-tech intellectual property consulting across complex patent litigation and licensing matters.
You will lead and develop distributed teams of technical consultants and IP specialists while overseeing multiple high-value engagements simultaneously.
The role combines people leadership, program delivery, technical direction, client management, and operational excellence.
You will help shape rigorous work products such as claim charts, source code analyses, reverse engineering studies, patent portfolio assessments, and expert report support.
Your technical expertise will be applied across areas such as telecommunications, semiconductors, AI/ML, cloud, software, consumer technology, and medical devices.
You will work closely with legal teams, executives, expert witnesses, and other senior stakeholders,



translating complex technical findings into clear strategic insights.

Accountabilities
Lead, manage, and develop technical consultants and IP experts, including distributed contributors across multiple locations, with responsibility for hiring, performance management, coaching, career development, and retention.
Own delivery across a portfolio of concurrent patent litigation, licensing, and IP consulting engagements, including scoping, planning, budgeting, staffing, milestones, utilization, risk management, and on-time delivery.
Serve as the senior delivery owner for high-value and time-sensitive matters, proactively identifying dependencies and escalating risks with practical solutions.
