Job Description – Product Manager (Pharmaceutical Marketing)

Position Purpose :-

The primary objective of this role is to support the Product Management Team (PMT) in managing assigned brands to maximize profitability, drive sales growth, and strengthen market presence through effective marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Management :

Manage and develop assigned pharmaceutical brands.
Monitor market trends, product performance, and competitor activities.
Conduct quarterly brand reviews and performance analysis.
Track secondary sales trends and recommend strategic improvements.

Marketing Strategy

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans.
Design creative campaigns to support sales growth.
Create promotional materials, visual aids, leave-behind literature, advertisements, and journal/conference content.
Ensure successful product launches and campaign execution.

Sales & Business Growth

Support achievement of sales, volume, profitability, and budget targets.
Develop channel strategies and promotional action plans.
Plan merchandising, exhibitions,



conferences, loyalty programs, and communication activities.
Build long-term customer relationships to increase market share.

Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Management

Plan, execute, and monitor KOL campaigns and engagement activities.
Ensure measurable ROI from marketing initiatives.
Coordinate participation in CMEs, medical conferences, and scientific events.

Training & Cross-functional Support

Conduct product training programs for Sales and Marketing teams.
Collaborate with Training Managers to enhance product knowledge.
Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors.

Vendor Management

Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and service providers.
Ensure timely execution of marketing activities.

Additional Responsibilities

Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines.
Manage assigned projects and special programs.
Perform additional duties assigned
