Job Description N Key Responsibilities N Exp - 4-6 yearsn Pune/ Mumbai/ Bangalore N Immediate joiners only N Test Automation& Technical Delivery N Develop, improve, and maintain automated test suites across frontend and backend components. N Write high‑quality, maintainable automated tests that support rapid delivery and reliability. N Identify and implement a test coverage tool to monitor coverage. N Own the execution and reporting of automated test pipelines within CI/CD workflows. N Monitor test flakiness and stability; proactively diagnose root causes and implement fixes. N Contribute to discussions on testing strategy, tooling, and testability improvements across the product. N Ensure all automated testing follows best practice, is version‑controlled, and integrates cleanly into engineering workflows. N Design and implement E2E testing to simulate real user actions and validate the full workflow. N Collaboration &Ways; of Working N Work day‑to‑day with developers across three squads to embed quality into feature development. N Participate in squad ceremonies (stand‑ups, refinement, planning), providing input on test impact and automation needs. N Collaborate with product managers and engineering leads to understand feature requirements and identify test scenarios. N Work within an agile, cloud‑first engineering environment and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes. N Document and track bugsencountered, providing detailed reproduction steps, workplace details and visual documentation to facilitate efficient resolution. N Learning & Growth N Learn from developers to deepen technical skills. N Stay current with modern test automation frameworks, patterns, and tools, recommending improvements where valuable. N Contribute to documentation of test suites, frameworks, and best practices.
N Required Experience & Skills N 1–3 years’ experience in QA automation or software engineering roles with a testing focus. N Experience developing automated tests for web applications (frontend or backend). N Familiarity with at least one E2E / Browser Automation framework (e.G., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium) and one Unit Framework (xUnit, Jest, NUnit). N Ability to read and write code in at least one programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Python, or similar). N Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution. N Ability to work within an agile engineering environment. N Desirable / Nice-to-Have Skills N Experience with some ofthe following is beneficial but not required: N Backend Testing N xUnit or similar unit testing frameworks for .NET environments. N API / integration testing methods and tools. N Frontend Testing N Cypress, Playwright, orsimilar browser automation tools. N (We currently use Cypress but are open to modernising our approach.) N General Technical Experience N Git and version controlworkflows. N Dockerised development/testing environments. N Cloud platforms (GoogleCloud Platform preferred but not essential). N Tech Environment (for Context) N The Pipes product is built using: N Backend: C# (.NET) N Frontend: ReactJS N Data: MySQL, Firestore, BigQuery N Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, Docker) N Testing Frameworks (Current & Planned): N xUnit (C#)n Cypress (legacy, under review) N Potential introduction of Playwright or similar end-to-end test automation tool. N What Success Looks Like N Within 6-12 months, success in this role will include: N Demonstrably higher automated test coverage across the platform. N Stable, reliable automated pipelines with decreased test flakiness. N Ability to work independently across squads and manage the testing suite. N Meaningful contributionto the team’s confidence in software quality and release reliability. Nnn
