Job DescriptionL2 Atlassian Cloud Administrator – Jira, Confluence, JSM & Xray NLocation: Bangalore, India (Onsite 3-4 days a week) NEmployment Type: Full-Time NStart Date: Immediate NExperience: 6+ years NSupport Hours: IST Zone support NNotice Period: 2 Weeks to 1 Month NMust undergo background check verification NReferences will be checked NnKeySkills: Atlassian Cloud, Jira Cloud, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), Xray, Basic scripting/programming knowledge, preferably Python, sufficient to work with REST APIs, NnPosition Overview: NWe are looking for a hands-on L2 Atlassian Cloud Administrator with strong experience supporting Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Xray in an enterprise environment. NThis is primarily an operational and administration-focused position. The resource will support day-to-day Jira/Atlassian activities, handle customization requests, create and configure new projects, maintain workflows and configurations, and independently troubleshoot L2-level issues. NThe ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a production environment with minimal supervision and should have strong practical knowledge of the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem. NKey Responsibilities Nn Provide day-to-day L2 administration and production support for Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and JSM. N Create, configure, and maintain Jira projects based on business and project requirements. N Design, modify, and support Jira workflows and workflow schemes. N Configure and maintain custom fields, screens, issue types, permission schemes, notification schemes, filters, dashboards, and related Jira configurations. N Support JSM configurations, workflows, request types, queues, and other service-management requirements. N Handle ongoing Jira customization and enhancement requests from business and technical teams.



N Administer and support Xray within Jira for project and test-management requirements. N Troubleshoot Jira, Confluence, JSM, and Xray issues and provide timely resolution. N Develop and maintain Jira automation rules. N Use Jira REST APIs for data retrieval, automation, and integration-related activities. N Write or maintain basicscripts to interact with Jira REST APIs and retrieve information required for reporting, work planning, and roadmap-related processes. N Support the Atlassian Cloud environment following the organization's recent Cloud migration. N Work closely with business, engineering, QA, and other technical teams to translate requirements into appropriate Jira configurations. N Maintain documentation for Jira configurations, processes, workflows, and operational procedures. NnnRequired Skills Nn Solid hands-on Jira Cloud administration experience. N Strong Confluence Cloud administration experience. N Hands-on experience with Jira Service Management (JSM). N Strong hands-onXray experience is mandatory. N Solid experience creating and configuring Jira projects from scratch. N Strong understanding ofJira workflows, schemes, custom fields, screens, permissions, notifications, and related configurations. N Experience supporting Jira in an enterprise production environment. N Experience with Jira automation. N Working knowledge of Jira REST APIs. N Basic scripting/programming knowledge, preferably Python, sufficient to work with REST APIs and automate Jira-related activities.



N Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. N Ability to independently handle L2 administration and support activities with minimal supervision. N Good communication skills. NnnPreferred Experience Nn Experience supporting Atlassian environments following a Server/Data Center-to-Cloud migration. N Exposure to Jira Cloud migrations and post-migration support. N Experience with enterprise Jira integrations. N Familiarity with CI/CD environments and Jira's interaction with engineering tools. N Exposure to Tempo is beneficial but deep Tempo expertise is not the primary requirement for this position. NnnIdeal Candidate NThe ideal candidate is a strong hands-on Atlassian administrator rather than a developer or architect. The person should be comfortable owning daily Jira/Confluence/JSM operations, handling customization requests, creating projects and workflows, supporting Xray, and independently resolving L2 production issues. N------------------------------------ NImportant Technical Clarifications NXray: Xray is a minimum requirement for this position. Candidates should have genuine hands-on experience working with Xray within Jira. General exposure to Xray or simply integrating Jira with Xray is not sufficient. NPython: Advanced Python development is not required. Candidates should understand basic programming and be capable of developing or maintaining scripts that make REST API calls to Jira and retrieve/process information. NScriptRunner: ScriptRunner is not a primary requirement. The environment is moving away from ScriptRunner toward Python/API-based scripting.
