Job DescriptionOur creative company is looking to fill the role of Storage & Backup Administrator. Day-to-day activities include developing and documenting system specifications, implementing hardware and OS, maintaining high operational uptime stringent SLAs, coordinating with applications and database teams and other operational and project-based tasks please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications listed below. NnESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: NnKey Responsibilities: Nn Perform tasks necessary to fulfill service level agreements with end-users regarding storage allocations, limitations, security, and availability. N Perform and test backups and restores to ensure that enterprise data is effectively protected. N Communicate and enforce, through system procedures, data storage retention policies. N Follow change control, incident response, and testing processes for modifications to storage appliances and software. N Anticipate, mitigate, identify, respond to, and resolve issues with storage devices, storage access, and data retrieval. N Monitor, analyze, and predict trends for storage equipment performance, space allocation, and data growth to recommend enhancements to the IT storage team. N Remain informed on storage laws, trends, and issues, including current and emerging technologies and best practices; advise, counsel, and educate executive and management teams on their relative importance. N Ensure that informationstorage measures and equipment adhere to all applicable laws and regulations. N Perform storage server/database transaction and security audits leading to identification and mitigation of security threats to enterprise data. Recommend and implement changes where necessary. N Create required reportsin response to business user needs. N Develop, document, and maintain operational processes and tasks.



N Understanding of Storage & backup automation Develop and maintain documentation related to patching processes and procedures. N Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours patching activities. NnnInformation Technology: Nn Operational expertise with enterprise-class storage systems is a must for this position. Solid understanding of storage architecture design techniques, theories, principles, and practices. N Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring, and supporting storage servers and management software., N Hands-on IBM/NetApp/EMCstorage troubleshooting experience N Hands-on experience in managing VTL E.G. Cybernetics N Hands-on experience Cohesity / TSM /IBM defender N Hands-on experience on SAN switch management N Understanding of Disaster recovery tools & management (VMware SRM /Zerto) N Understanding of ITIL processes and best practice N Understanding of SLA terms N Excellent troubleshooting abilities NnSkills and Qualifications Nn Bachelor’s degreein related field, or relevant experience N Minimum 5+ years of experience in Storage & Backup administration N Excellent communicationskills. Ability to communicate effectively to the teams as well as IT Executive Management N Fluency in English, both written and spoken N Must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude. N Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills N Proven track record working in a global and multicultural environment.
