Job DescriptionTeradata Database Admin NHybrid NBengaluru/Hyderabad N8-10 years NnJobSummary: NWe are seeking a skilled Database Engineer 3 with a solid focus on Teradata database engineering, complemented by exposure to cloud technologies, Unix, and shell scripting. In this role, you will lead and manage the systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area, ensuring high levels of availability and efficiency. NnResponsibilities: NLead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area. NContribute to increasing system efficiencies and reducing human intervention time on related tasks. NReview and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure optimal systems and infrastructure availability. NCollaborate with vendors and technical personnel for effective problem resolution. NGuide the team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of technical process controls and standards. NCoordinate processes between different teams, possibly across various locations. NProduce deployment, implementation, and run book plans. NConduct release readinessand milestone reviews. NMaintain release schedules for core systems, ensuring alignment with major vendors and stakeholders. NDevelop automation and release management tools, along with scripts necessary for software release construction, continuous integration, and deployment. NResearch new software development methods and techniques for managing configurations based on business needs.



NUtilize troubleshooting skills and collaborate closely with operations, support, engineering, and other functions. NManage stakeholders and work with multiple cross-functional teams that are geographically dispersed. NAssume other duties and responsibilities as directed by management. NEnsure quality, security,and compliance requirements are met for the supported area. NExhibit initiative, flexibility, and adaptability in all tasks. NnMandatory Skills: NProficient in Teradata database administration. NStrong experience in software infrastructure management and configuration management. NExcellent knowledge of various database platforms including SQL, Teradata, Oracle, and Exadata. NFamiliarity with heterogeneous database structures or enterprise data warehouses. NGood understanding of thesoftware development lifecycle. NExpertise in monitoring, ing, and dashboard solutions, along with batch support experience. NProficient in SharePoint,JIRA, ServiceNow, and change/release management. NUnderstanding of data center operations, including production operations, server, storage, network, system management, and disaster recovery practices. NnPreferred Skills: NExperience with Agile methodologies and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). NDemonstrated self-learning capability to ramp up quickly without extensive instruction or training. NExperience in coordinating cross-functional work teams to task completion.
