Job Title: Family Hair Stylist & Color Professional

PURPOSE OF THIS JOB

At Rajkumari's Family Salon, we don't just offer haircuts—we create a welcoming, premium experience for every generation. We are seeking a highly skilled, versatile, and approachable Family Hair Stylist to join our growing team. Because we cater to everyone from toddlers getting their first haircut to grandparents needing a classic style, we need an artist who is patient, adaptable, and passionate about making every client feel valued.

This role is perfect for a creative professional who loves building long-term relationships with local families, possesses exceptional technical skills in cutting and coloring, and thrives in a warm, community-focused environment. You will work closely with the Salon Manager to uphold our international hygiene standards while delivering high-end artistry with a personal touch.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

- Versatile Styling: Proven ability to expertly cut, style, and finish hair for men, women, and children.
- Advanced Coloring: Strong proficiency in modern color techniques (e.g., balayage, highlights, root touch-ups, color correction).
- Client Consultation: The ability to listen, analyze hair types, and recommend suitable styles and premium retail products.
- Hygiene & Safety: Strict adherence to sanitation protocols for tools and workstations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide thorough, personalized consultations to understand the unique hair needs and preferences of clients across all age groups.




- Execute a wide range of hair services including precision cutting, styling, blow-drying, and advanced coloring.
- Ensure a comfortable, engaging, and patient experience for clients, making the salon environment a stress-free one.
- Educate clients on post-appointment hair care, confidently recommending and upselling retail products that suit their specific hair type and lifestyle.
- Proactively encourage client rebooking before they leave the chair to build a loyal, recurring client base.
- Maintain an immaculate, hygienic workstation between every client.

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE A consistently fully booked chair, glowing client reviews from family members of all ages, high retail product sales, and a spotless, welcoming workstation that reflects our premium aesthetic.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Hair Stylist in a reputed salon environment.
- Robust technical knowledge of hair biology, color theory, and chemical treatments.
- Excellent conversational skills; the ability to read a client's mood and provide either a relaxing, quiet experience or a friendly, engaging chat.
- A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage time effectively to keep the salon schedule running smoothly.
