Web Jeevan is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our finance team. Payroll Services

Roles and Responsibilities

- Payroll Processing: Accurately calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions for employees based on timesheets and contracts.
- Compliance Management: Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including timely tax filings and reporting.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain and update employee payroll records, including personal details, salary adjustments, and benefits enrollment.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, addressing employee inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with HR to manage employee onboarding, terminations, and benefits deductions, ensuring alignment with payroll systems.
- Reporting: Generate payroll reports for management, including summaries of payroll expenses, tax liabilities, and benefits contributions.
- System Management: Utilize payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) to streamline processes and ensure data accuracy.




- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing accurate payroll data and documentation.
- Policy Adherence: Stay updated on payroll laws and company policies to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements.
- Employee Support: Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related questions, providing clear and accurate information to employees.

Qualifications And Skills

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of payroll processing experience in a professional setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal and state payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and implement solutions efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees and management.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
