Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled xIL Modeling and Integration Engineer with strong expertise in model-based development and simulation within the automotive domain. The role focuses on plant modeling, powertrain system simulation, and integration with HIL environments.

Position Requirements
/n
Basic Qualifications
/n
/n
1. Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other suitable degree related to Engineering from an accredited university
/n
1. Experience in the electronics, hardware, automotive industry
/n
1. Experience with plant and controller modeling, simulation, development and testing
/n
1. Experience in Model Based Development on any Powertrain Application, preferred Matlab-Simulink/Stateflow/Sim Scape
/n
1. Knowledge and experience with Powertrain, EE, electric and hybrid systems
/n
1. Demonstrated Hardware- In-the-Loop systems experience (dSPACE, ETAS, NI HIL systems)
/n
1. Experience with C/C++ code generation
/n
1. Knowledge of Simulation Tool (Ex: ASM)
/n
1. Experience with 1-D physical modeling tools such as GT Power, AMESim and co-simulation tools
/n
1. Experience with model-based development tools using m-script
/n
1. Outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills
/n
1.
Strong ability to work directly with individuals and groups
/n
1. Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
/n
1. Self-starter who can work cross-functionally with other people
/n
/n

Preferred Qualifications:
/n
/n
1. Master of Science degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
/n
1. Working experience of Model Development
/n
1. Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics and specific simulation software
/n
1. Knowledge of Vehicle Systems Components
/n
1. Experience of working within an AGILE or Scrum framework
/n
1. Experience in Test Automation
/n
1. Ability to adapt to changing environment with minimal effect on productivity
/n
1. Strong understanding of the development of embedded software
/n
1. Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of management
/n
1. Good understanding of the development of embedded software
/n
1. Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools such as ETAS-INCA
/n

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Automotive Engineering

Master’s Degree (Preferred)
