We are looking for Senior Data Engineer – GCP with multiple project opportunities.

Job Role: Senior Data Engineer – GCP

/n

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

/n

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners / Short Notice Preferred

Interview Mode: As per client requirement

Experience: 5–8 Years

/n

Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 Years in Data Engineering with mandatory DBT experience

/n

Mandatory Skills: Data Engineering + GCP + DBT + SQL + ETL/ELT + Terraform + CI/CD + Data Modelling

/n

REQUIREMENT FOR SENIOR DATA ENGINEER – GCP:

/n

Key Responsibilities:

/n

/n

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines .

/n

- Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Dev Ops best practices.

/n

- Develop scalable ETL/ELT data solutions using modern data engineering technologies.

/n

- Design secure, observable, and scalable data products aligned with business requirements.

/n

- Work extensively with GCP cloud services and cloud-native data architectures.

/n

- Develop and maintain data transformation workflows using DBT .

/n

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data engineering and infrastructure deployments.

/n

- Apply strong SQL and data modelling practices to build efficient data solutions.

/n

- Work with large-scale data processing frameworks such as Spark, Beam, or Hive .

/n

- Enable data sharing and integration across multiple domains in a Data Mesh environment.

/n

- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.

/n

- Drive continuous improvement, performance optimization, monitoring, and technical excellence.

/n





- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and follow Dev Ops practices.

/n

- Support data governance, cataloging, data quality, and data observability initiatives.

/n

Who Can Apply?

/n

✔️ 5–8 years of experience in Data Engineering .

/n

✔️ Mandatory hands-on experience with DBT .

/n

✔️ Strong experience in GCP services and cloud-native architectures .

/n

✔️ Strong experience in ETL/ELT development and data pipelines .

/n

✔️ Strong hands-on experience with SQL and data modelling .

/n

✔️ Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code .

/n

✔️ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices .

/n

✔️ Knowledge of large-scale data processing frameworks such as Spark, Beam, or Hive .

/n

✔️ Experience with modern data architecture and Data Mesh concepts.

/n

✔️ Valuable understanding of secure, scalable, and observable data products.

/n

✔️ Strong troubleshooting, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.

/n

✔️ Good collaboration and communication skills.

/n

Nice to Have:

- Experience with Cloud Run .

/n

- Experience with Apache Iceberg / Hudi .

/n

- Knowledge of Avro and Parquet file formats.

/n

- Understanding of data governance, data cataloging, and data observability .

- Exposure to analytics and data visualization tools .
