The PlatformsLead Engineer will provide specialized knowledge to configure thesesystems in conformance with customer requirements; Troubleshootingand resolution of any Proxmox/Hyper-V related problems will beprimary responsibilities of this engineer. This position requirescoordination with the customer, as well as a variety of technicalpersonnel with different specialized skills. The team-basedenvironment is fast-moving and has high expectations for quality ofwork and turnaround times. Candidates must have extensive knowledgeand experience with Proxmox, Hyper-V and virtualization technologyand firmware patching along with Linux expertise. Strong experience with storage products such asNimble, Dell SC/EMC, NetApp and Hyper-converged platforms such asNutanix, VxRack, Simplivity. Strong experience with virtualizationplatforms including Proxmox, VMware and Hyper-V. Advanced StorageConnectivity experience with iSCSI, NFS, FC, and FCoE.Implementation and support of backup and disaster recoverysolutions. Advanced Layer 3 Networking/Subnetting Knowledge. Goodunderstanding and experience working in Linux operating systems.Good understanding of other cloud technologies like AWS and GCP.Good understanding of various regulations compliance requirementslike HIPAA, PCI, GDPR to name a few. Preferred Skills: 7+ yearssupporting IT solutions (Windows, VMWare, Azure, storage, Linux).7+ years’ experience with gathering client business, technical andfunctional requirements. 5+ years analyzing and documentingbusiness processes. 5+ years with IT project or program management,including leading cross- functional teams and activities.
