Job Description – Application Support / Production SupportRole: Associate / Senior Associate – Application Support / Production SupportExperience: 2–4 YearsLocation: Chennai/ MumbaiEmployment Type: Full TimeEmployment Type - Full-timeWorking Days - 5 Days WorkingWork Schedule• Candidates should be comfortable working in rotational shift timings and rotational week offsPreference -Male candidates onlyImmediate joinersJob SummaryWe are looking for candidates who have hands-on experience in Application/Production Support, with good knowledge of Linux, SQL and Oracle, and are comfortable working in a 24x7 rotational shift workplace.Important:Immediate joiners , or candidates with maximum 15 days' notice period will be preferred.Candidate who is already staying in Chennai, or Mumbai will only be considered , as there will be a face-to-face round of interview.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide L1/L2 application and production support for business-critical applications.Monitor applications and production environments to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.Troubleshoot application-related issues and perform initial root-cause analysis.Handle incidents,



service requests and production issues within defined SLAs.Monitor system/application performance and identify potential issues proactively.Work with internal technical teams to resolve complex application and infrastructure-related issues.Perform basic troubleshooting on Linux/Unix environments.Execute and troubleshoot SQL queries for data validation and issue investigation.Work with Oracle databases for basic database-related troubleshooting and support activities.Analyse application logs and identify errors/issues.Escalate critical or unresolved issues to the relevant technical teams.Maintain proper documentation of incidents, resolutions and support activities.Participate in shift handovers and ensure proper communication of pending/critical issues.Follow defined IT support processes, escalation matrix and operational procedures.Required SkillsMandatory:Application Support / Production Support experienceLinuxSQLOracle DatabaseGood troubleshooting and analytical skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to work in rotational shifts and rotational week-offsRequired Educational Qualification (Mandatory)BE/B.Tech – IT / Computer ScienceB.Sc. – ITBCAMCACandidate should be only from Computer Science backgroundRequired Experience2-4 years of relevant experience in Application Support / Production Support.
