We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL processes and data integration, with a focus on leveraging Ab Initio for data processing. Summary: In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This position requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet established standards. The role demands continuous evaluation of code quality, system scalability, and performance to align with evolving business goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders to synchronize efforts and maintain project momentum is a key aspect of daily activities, fostering an environment of innovation and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Ab Initio.
- Implement data integration solutions to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and ETL jobs.
- Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to ensure requirements are met.
- Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability.

collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects.- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and qualified growth.- Coordinate cross-functional communication to facilitate seamless integration of software components.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes and product delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

- Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Ab Initio.- Strong expertise in software architecture design and Experience in managing and leading software development teams.- Ability to ensure code quality, scalability, and performance in complex software solutions.- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and best practices.- Excellent problem-solving skills and capability to provide technical guidance across teams. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Ab Initio.- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
