Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Rajkot. The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining general ledgers, preparing financial statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities include reconciling bank statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role involves reviewing financial data for accuracy, preparing periodic reports for management, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors. The Senior Accountant is expected to identify process improvements, support decision-making with financial insights, and uphold strong internal controls.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable,



bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing
- Understanding of taxation, regulatory compliance, and statutory reporting requirements
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and support forecasting and cost control
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification is an advantage
- Relevant experience in a senior or lead accounting role, preferably within a corporate or consulting setting
