Jewellery Store Manager

Role Overview:

Shaar Gold is looking for an experienced Jewellery Store Manager with at least 5-7 years of experience in the jewellery industry to lead our store at Amanora Mall, Pune.

You will be responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day running of the store - including sales, customer experience, team management, CRM, inventory, store operations and reporting.

We're looking for someone who combines strong jewellery retail experience with a warm, thoughtful and trustworthy approach to customers. You should be comfortable leading a team, taking ownership of targets and operations, and creating a store experience that customers want to return to.

Responsibilities:

- Own store sales, revenue, conversion, average transaction value, category performance and other targets assigned by the Company.
- Lead, schedule, coach, and monitor the store team; allocate daily responsibilities and maintain service, grooming, attendance and conduct standards.
- Deliver a high-quality customer experience, support product selection and ensure accurate communication on pricing, purity, making charges, exchange, returns and other approved policies.
- Manage CRM discipline, including accurate customer data capture, lead allocation, enquiry follow-up, appointments, wish lists, repeat-purchase activity, inactive-customer follow-up and campaign execution, while protecting customer privacy.
- Maintain daily CRM and sales reports and provide management with accurate dashboards, forecasts, customer feedback, lost-sale reasons and actionable store insights.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, billing, POS usage, cash and digital-payment reconciliation, stock movement, inward and outward entries, tagging, transfers, repairs, returns and daily/periodic stock counts.
- Safeguard jewellery, cash, keys, passwords, customer information, Company records and other assets; immediately report any discrepancy, loss, theft, fraud,



suspicious transaction or security incident.
- Ensure compliance with approved KYC, old-gold exchange, buyback, discount, invoicing, inventory, CCTV, safety and loss-prevention procedures.
- Coordinate visual merchandising, replenishment, housekeeping, maintenance, mall operations and execution of promotions, events and local outreach.
- Perform other reasonable duties connected with store management and the Company's business as assigned from time to time.

Ideal Candidate:

- Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing a jewellery retail store
- Overall 5-7 years of experience in the jewellery retail industry
- Strong understanding of gold jewellery, customer handling, and retail sales
- Proven ability to manage sales targets and motivate a store team
- Confident, polite, well-groomed, and presentable
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi
- Marathi is positive to have
- Warm, approachable, and non-pushy in their sales approach
- Comfortable explaining gold, pricing, purity, and value in a simple and trustworthy way
- Able to understand customer preferences and recommend products thoughtfully
- Organised, proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable taking ownership
- Comfortable working in a retail store environment, including weekends and mall working hours
- Comfortable with billing/POS systems, CRM, WhatsApp follow-ups and basic store reporting
