Azure Synapse Analytics Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Synapse Analytics Developer with strong expertise in Azure Synapse Dedicated SQL Pool, Microsoft SQL Server, and ETL development using SSIS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions while ensuring high performance, scalability, and data quality.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MCA, BSc IT, or a related technical field.
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Data Warehousing, ETL Development, and Database Management.
- 4–6 years of experience working with Azure Synapse Analytics (Dedicated SQL Pool).
- Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server development and administration.
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and database design.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Robust communication and collaboration abilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics (Dedicated SQL Pool).
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views,



and database objects.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL pipelines using SSIS.
- Implement data integration solutions from multiple source systems.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, query execution, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance across data platforms.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
- Support production deployments, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
