We need three Expert Sr. Autocad Draftsman candidates with good communication skills.

ExterNetworks is hiring CAD Drafters.

- Must be able to read blueprints, specifications, and develop shop drawings.
- Develop Submittal packages and Shop Drawings in accordance with required project specifications, norms and techniques.
- Individuals must communicate well with others and have AutoCAD experience.
- They will be supporting the NYCT Projects.
- Produce detailed drawings, 3D visuals and accurate scale layouts of parts & overall construction plans including sections.
- Work from written or verbal instructions, sketches, models or marked prints Work with the project team as directed to achieve departmental objectives

Requirements

- Proficient in AutoCAD Drafting: minimum of 10 years of experience Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and cabinetry specifications Thrives in a quick-paced environment Plusses

Scope of Work:

- 1. Design wiring diagrams for all new equipment furnished for the final Communications systems and existing equipment being modified for the final Communications systems within the limits of the Contract. The Contractor shall submit for approval the required tracings and prints.
- 2. Revise the existing MTA record drawings to which changes are required due to Work performed as specified herein, including telephone terminal boxes, telephone terminal boards, telephone terminal frames, electric power, all systems and room layout drawings, allas approved.



Such revision shall be limited to reflect the changes required by the Work under Division 19.
- 3. Where the Work involves replacement of any existing equipment such as telephone terminal boxes, telephone terminal boards, or telephone terminal frames with new equipment, design the required wiring diagrams for the new equipment even if the MTA's record drawings are not available or incorrect.
- 4. Survey the locations including Communications Rooms, substations and PBX rooms where Contract Work is required. Submit for approval layout drawings for locations subject to work even if the MTA's record drawings are not available or incorrect. Layout drawings shall indicate all new and existing room equipment and raceways as detailed in paragraph 1.0 v.
- 5. If drawings of the existing termination boxes such as existing telephone terminal boxes (TTB) / telephone terminal boards (TTBD) are not available, develop and furnish complete drawings for such boxes / boards.
- Survey each existing telephone terminal box / board listed below and trace the existing cabling from the existing telephone terminal box / board to each end-user location (within facility) to identify and label each circuit. Bring all required equipment and measuring devices to each existing telephone terminal box / board site. Prepare the required terminal box / board wiring diagram drawings that will depict all new and existing cabling, circuits and cross connections.
