Position Project Planning Engineer NonMetallic Piping Systems Department Projects Planning Location Project Site HO Location Reporting To Project Manager Planning Manager Job Summary The Project Planning Engineer is responsible for planning scheduling monitoring and coordinating activities related to nonmetallic piping system projects such as HDPE PP FRP GRE UPVC CPVC and other industrial piping solutions The role ensures timely execution of projects within budget and according to client specifications and project schedules Key Responsibilities Planning Scheduling Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 MS Project Develop project baseline programs and resource loading plans Monitor project progress against planned schedules Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports Track critical activities and identify project delays Project Coordination Coordinate with engineering procurement production QA QC and site execution teams Follow up material delivery schedules and site requirements Assist in manpower and equipment planning Coordinate with clients consultants and subcontractors regarding project timelines Monitoring Control Prepare project progress curves dashboards and MIS reports Conduct delay analysis and recovery planning Monitor productivity and resource utilization Ensure compliance with project milestones and contractual requirements Documentation Reporting Maintain project planning documents and records Prepare daily weekly and monthly project status reports Update management regarding project risks and mitigation plans Maintain documentation related to piping installation progress testing and commissioning Technical Support Understand nonmetallic piping systems including HDPE PPH FRP GRP GRE UPVC CPVC Review project drawings BOQ and technical specifications Support project execution and commissioning activities Required Skills Knowledge of project planning and scheduling techniques Experience in industrial piping or infrastructure projects Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel Valuable understanding of nonmetallic piping systems Strong coordination and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Qualification Bachelors Degree Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering or related field Experience 310 years of experience in project planning for piping industrial infrastructure or EPC projects Experience in nonmetallic piping projects preferred Preferred Industry NonMetallic Piping Oil Gas Water Treatment Chemical Plants Infrastructure Projects Industrial EPC Projects Additional Requirements Willingness to travel to project sites Knowledge of project documentation and reporting systems Familiarity with QA QC and site execution processes preferred
