Cash Desk Trainee Entry-level role with a 2-month training period plus 1 month on-the-job training. Trainees learn to chip and cut casino chips, handle currency notes, memorize chip stack values, and learn cash desk terminology. Responsibilities include securing the cash desk window during breaks, maintaining clean hands before/after transactions, and getting all transactions checked by a supervisor.
Cashier Handles cash-in and cash-out transactions, verified by a Senior Cashier or Cage Supervisor, with all transactions reported to Surveillance. Balances the cash counter every two hours and reports discrepancies. Redeems Entry tickets for One Time Play Chips (OTPC), processes credit/debit card and online payments, and maintains proper KYC documentation for patrons. Delivers customer service by addressing guest inquiries, issues and redeems EGM tickets, and redeems foreign currency/travelers' checks at correct exchange rates.
Keeps the work area organized and maintains confidentiality, with clean hands required before and after each transaction.
Senior Cashier Builds on the Cashier role with added oversight responsibilities: verifying transactions and window balances, maintaining adequate cash and chip stock, and cleaning/monitoring equipment. Manages floats and prepares paperwork for gaming operations, maintains KYC records and transaction confidentiality, and provides corrective guidance to junior staff. Ensures minimal guest wait times during peak hours, assigns staff breaks, enters daily cash desk reports, and reconciles OTPC transactions and front office collections. Clean hands required before/after each transaction.
