Redis Cache & Real-Time Data Engineer (Tech Development)

Position Overview

We are looking for a specialized Redis Cache & Real-Time Data Engineer to design and scale our high-throughput, in-memory data infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for building lightning-quick caching layers, real-time messaging pipelines, and session management systems using Redis to ensure sub-millisecond API response times under heavy user loads.

Key Responsibilities & Scope

- In-Memory Architecture & Caching: Design and implement advanced Redis caching patterns (such as cache-aside, write-through, and eviction policies) to drastically reduce database load.

- Real-Time Data Streams: Leverage Redis Pub/Sub, Streams, and data structures (sorted sets, hashes) to power real-time messaging, notifications, and live tracking features.

- Cluster Management & High Availability: Configure, monitor,



and scale Redis Sentinel and Redis Cluster environments to ensure fault tolerance, data persistence, and high availability.

- Performance Tuning: Analyze memory usage, optimize command execution times, and troubleshoot latency bottlenecks in high-concurrency environments.

Must-Have Qualifications

- Experience: 3–6 years of backend engineering experience with a heavy, specialized focus on Redis implementation and in-memory data store management.

- Tech Stack: Deep technical proficiency in Redis architecture, data structures, and clustering, paired with backend development skills in Python, Node.js, Go, or Java.

- System Optimization: Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, network protocols, and performance profiling.
