About the Opportunity
A fast-scaling industrial manufacturing firm in India, we specialize in end-to-end production, cost optimization, and financial control for high-volume manufacturing units. We empower plant-level finance teams with real-time cost visibility, variance analysis, and margin protection tools — turning shopfloor data into strategic financial decisions. You’ll be embedded in the heart of operations, bridging finance with production to drive Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen-style efficiency gains.

Role & Responsibilities

- Track and reconcile manufacturing costs — direct materials, labor, and overhead — across multiple production lines with daily accuracy.
- Prepare standard cost cards, conduct monthly variance analysis, and report root causes to plant managers and finance leadership.
- Partner with production and procurement to identify cost-saving levers, including BOM optimization, yield improvement, and scrap reduction.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting dashboards in Excel and ERP (SAP/Oracle)



for real-time plant P&L; visibility.
- Support CAPEX and OPEX budgeting cycles, ensuring alignment with operational targets and capacity planning.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and internal controls for inventory valuation and WIP accounting.
