Housekeeping OJT (On-the-Job Trainee)

Purpose of the Role

To undergo hands-on training in housekeeping operations under supervision, learning cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and safety protocols, with the objective of progressing to a Housekeeping Attendant role.

Key Responsibilities

- Undergo structured on-the-job training in housekeeping procedures and SOPs under supervision.
- Observe and assist Housekeeping Attendants/Senior Attendants in daily cleaning tasks.
- Learn correct use, handling, and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals as per safety guidelines.
- Understand hygiene, sanitation, and waste disposal protocols applicable to different areas.
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining designated areas (guest areas, gaming floor, back-of-house, restrooms).
- Learn replenishment procedures for supplies (toiletries, linen, cleaning materials).
- Learn to minimize guest disruption while carrying out cleaning duties.
- Attend training sessions and complete assessments/evaluations as required.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and grooming standards as per company policy.

Eligibility / Qualifications

- Minimum 10th pass; no prior experience required — freshers eligible.
- Physically fit and willing to work in an active, hands-on role.
- Basic communication skills in Hindi/English.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Skills to be Developed During Traineeship

- Cleaning techniques, equipment handling, and chemical safety
- Hygiene and sanitation standards specific to a high-footfall environment
- Waste management and safety protocol compliance
- Basic guest courtesy and non-disruptive service etiquette
- Time management for scheduled cleaning routines

Working Conditions

- Rotational shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays), as operations are 24x7.
- Physically demanding role involving standing, bending, and manual work for extended periods.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals; work in a high-security, camera-monitored environment.

Duration & Progression

- Minimum 3 months, subject to performance evaluation.
- Successful OJTs are absorbed as Housekeeping Attendant based on skill assessment.

Housekeeping Attendant

Purpose of the Role

To maintain cleanliness, hygiene,



and orderliness across all designated areas (guest areas, gaming floor, back-of-house, restrooms) ensuring a safe and pleasant setting for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain assigned areas (floors, furniture, fixtures, restrooms, public areas) as per hygiene and SOP standards.
- Handle proper use, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals as per safety guidelines.
- Replenish supplies (toiletries, linen, cleaning materials) in designated areas as required.
- Report any damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the Supervisor promptly.
- Follow scheduled cleaning routines (daily, deep cleaning, periodic) as assigned.
- Ensure minimal disruption to guests while carrying out cleaning duties.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including proper waste disposal and sanitation practices.
- Maintain grooming and conduct standards as per company policy.
- Coordinate with other departments (security, front office, F&B;) for smooth area upkeep.

Eligibility / Qualifications

- Minimum 10th pass; 6 months–1 year of relevant experience preferred (freshers with strong aptitude may be considered).
- Basic understanding of cleaning equipment and chemicals preferred.
- Physically fit and willing to work in an active, hands-on role.
- Basic communication skills in Hindi/English.

Senior Housekeeping Attendant

Purpose of the Role

To take on added responsibility for cleaning quality, area supervision, and guidance of junior Attendants/OJTs, ensuring consistent hygiene standards across shifts.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee execution of cleaning schedules and SOPs across assigned areas during the shift.
- Guide and train Housekeeping Attendants and OJTs on cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety protocols.
- Conduct routine quality checks on cleanliness and hygiene standards, escalating issues as needed.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinating replenishment with the Supervisor.
- Handle guest or staff feedback related to cleanliness, resolving minor issues directly.
- Coordinate task allocation and breaks among Attendants/OJTs to ensure full area coverage.
- Maintain cleaning logs, checklists, and shift handover reports.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and waste disposal protocols by the team.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance requirements promptly.

Eligibility / Qualifications

- Minimum 10th/12th pass; 1–2 years of housekeeping experience preferred.
- Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and basic leadership ability.
- Basic English/Hindi communication skills.
