About the Prospect
A fast-growing engineering firm in the Power & Industrial Electronics sector, we specialize in designing and manufacturing high-efficiency transformers for renewable energy, EV charging infrastructure, and industrial automation applications. Our team builds next-gen magnetic components that meet global safety, thermal, and reliability standards—serving OEMs and system integrators across India and export markets. Role & Responsibilities
- Design and validate dry-type and oil-immersed transformers for industrial and grid-scale applications, ensuring compliance with IEC/IS standards.
- Optimize core & winding layouts using FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS Maxwell, FEMM) to improve efficiency, reduce losses, and manage thermal profiles.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to specify materials (CRGO steel,
copper/aluminum windings, insulation systems) and validate vendor samples.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, BOMs, and test procedures for transformer prototypes and mass production units.
- Support field failure analysis and implement design improvements to enhance MTBF and reduce warranty claims.
- Lead design reviews with cross-functional teams and clients to align specifications with performance, cost, and timeline goals.
