THIS POSITION IS FOR MANIPAL LOCATION ONLY Hiring Database Developer DBA PostgreSQL MS SQL Server Experience 2 4 Years Role Database Developer DBA Technology PostgreSQL MS SQL Server About the Role We are looking for a Database Developer DBA with strong handson experience in PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server The role will be responsible for database development administration performance optimization backup recovery replication and production support for highperformance dataintensive applications Key Responsibilities Database Development Design and develop database schemas tables and relationships Write and optimize SQL queries stored procedures functions and triggers Perform query tuning and performance optimization Develop and maintain data processing logic batch jobs ETL and fileprocessing workflows Support application teams with data modelling and query optimization Database Administration Install configure and manage PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server databases Monitor database performance and identify and resolve bottlenecks Manage backup restore and disaster recovery processes Handle database security user access and permissions Manage replication high availability and failover setups Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in production environments General Responsibilities Support data migration ETL processes and largevolume data handling Work closely with Development QA and Business teams Participate in release deployments and production support Ensure data integrity consistency and compliance standards Required Skills Qualifications 2 4 years of experience in database development and administration Strong handson experience with PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server Strong SQL programming skills including stored procedures functions and triggers Good understanding of database architecture indexing and normalization Handson experience with query optimization and execution plan analysis Knowledge of transaction management locking and concurrency control Experience with backup restore replication and highavailability setups Familiarity with ETL processes and large data handling Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Positive communication and crossfunctional collaboration skills
