Job Summary We are searching for an Accounting Analyst to manage daily accounting oversight and Net Asset Value NAV validation within the Aladdin platform In this role you will monitor portfolio data investigate discrepancies and complete complex reconciliations You will collaborate with internal teams including Performance Data Management and Technology as well as external Custodians and ThirdParty Administrators TPAs to protect the integrity of our financial records This position is perfect for an investment or fund accounting skilled looking to deepen their expertise in Aladdin and investment operations Key Responsibilities Daily Oversight Execute daily control activities utilizing Aladdin Accounting and Accounting Quality Control AQC tools Data Validation Audit portfolio entries including positions cash balances accruals fees corporate actions and gains losses Exception Management Research and resolve exceptions flagged by Aladdin dashboards and system control reports RootCause Analysis Diagnose accounting breaks by auditing transactions pricing sources and security master data Issue Escalation Notify management promptly regarding material valuation issues or persistent unreconciled breaks Audit Readiness Maintain detailed documentation of reviews and exception resolutions to satisfy compliance standards PeriodEnd Support Contribute to monthly quarterly and annual closing and reporting cycles Portfolio Onboarding Assist with the integration of new funds securities and complex investment products System Testing Participate in user acceptance testing UAT and parallel runs during Aladdin system upgrades Stakeholder Collaboration Coordinate with tech teams custodians and external administrators to resolve data bottlenecks Process Optimization Identify manual tasks to automate and suggest enhancements to current operational workflows Regulatory Compliance Adhere strictly to internal accounting policies standard controls and legal frameworks Operational Reporting Track metric updates on exception volumes resolution times and outstanding breaks Core Qualifications Education Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or a related business discipline Credentials CPA designation or active progress toward enrollment is highly valued Experience 1 to 5 years in fund accounting asset management operations or investment reconciliation Product Knowledge Familiarity with mutual funds institutional accounts or exchangetraded funds ETFs Technical Skills Handson experience with Aladdin Geneva Eagle SimCorp or similar investment engines Software Mastery Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis Analytical Mindset Proven ability to investigate data anomalies and manage deadlines in highpressure settings
