What we are looking for We are seeking a detailoriented and experiencedSenior Property Accountantwith strong knowledge ofUS GAAP and real estate property accounting The role will be responsible for managing and reviewing accounting activities for a portfolio of real estate properties ensuring accurate financial reporting timely monthend close reconciliations and compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies The ideal candidate should have strong technical accounting knowledge handson experience withYardi Voyager 7S and the ability to independently manage propertylevel financial activities while supporting and mentoring junior team members Job responsibilities Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements for assigned properties Perform monthend and yearend close activities including journal entries accruals and account reconciliations Ensure compliance withUS GAAPand applicable accounting policies Perform depreciation calculations and prepare amortization schedules in accordance with US GAAP Support the development and implementation of capitalization policies in accordance with relevant US GAAP ASC requirements Prepare and analyze propertylevel financial reports budgets and variance analyses Review escrow closing statements and property purchase agreements and prepare appropriate initial accounting entries Reconcile bank accounts tenant ledgers fixed assets and balance sheet accounts Prepare quarterly distribution calculations and management fee calculations Coordinate with property management and other internal and external stakeholders regarding accounting and financial matters Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules reconciliations and supporting documentation Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best accounting practices Mentor and guide junior accounting team members as required Manage multiple priorities and ensure timely completion of accounting and reporting deliverables Requirements CA ACCA or CPA USA Mandatory 45 yearsof experience in Property Accounting Real Estate Accounting or General Ledger Accounting Strong and practical knowledge ofUS GAAP Mandatory Robust understanding of property accounting and real estate financial operations Handson experience withYardi Voyager 7S Mandatory Experience preparing financial statements reconciliations journal entries accruals and financial reports Strong understanding of depreciation amortization and capitalization under US GAAP Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment You must have Willingness to work inUS time zone EST shifts 45 years of relevant Property Real Estate GL Accounting experience Strong knowledge ofUS GAAP Mandatory handson experience with Yardi Voyager 7S CA ACCA or CPA USA qualification Strong communication skills with clarity and professionalism Title Senior Property Accountant US GAAP Department Accounting Employment Type Full Time Permanent Job Location Remote New Delhi Industry KPO Outsourcing Offshoring Employment Type Fulltime Shift Time EST US Timezone
