Position IT Low Voltage Technician Job Responsibilities Read and understand drawing layouts and execute work as per the approved drawing Perform Cat6 network cable laying routing dressing and termination Perform network punching patch panel termination and RJ45 crimping Install and configure CCTV cameras including cable laying and basic testing Perform electrical wiring and related lowvoltage electrical work Install network racks patch panels cable managers and other networking equipment Install DB boxes and understand basic electrical lowvoltage connections Handle structured cabling and lowvoltage ELV work at project sites Have basic knowledge of computer hardware desktops laptops peripherals and troubleshooting Have basic knowledge of computer networking LAN switches routers IP addressing and connectivity troubleshooting Maintain proper cable dressing labeling termination testing and site documentation Coordinate with the project team and complete assigned work within the required timeline Follow safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping at the work site Required Skills Ability to read and understand technical drawing layouts Practical knowledge of Cat6 cabling punching crimping and networking Knowledge of CCTV installation and basic troubleshooting Knowledge of electrical wiring and ELV lowvoltage systems Knowledge of network rack installation and structured cabling Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking Willingness to travel to customer project sites as required Valuable working attitude discipline and ability to work as part of a team Experience 13 years in IT networking CCTV electrical structured cabling or ELV work preferred
