Profile: Senior SAP O2C Architect with UK Order-to-Cash design expertise and logistics integration experience
Primary Focus: UK O2C functional design, global template governance and logistics integration on S/4HANA
Experience: 10 15+ years in SAP O2C across global implementations

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
This is a senior architect role owning the UK Order-to-Cash workstream within a large-scale S/4HANA programme. You will be the functional authority for UK O2C design - from offer-based pricing through billing, returns, weighbridge and EDI integrations - while keeping the solution aligned to the global template:
Own UK O2C functional design covering offer-based pricing, ATP, billing, returns and credit management.
Ensure weighbridge integration aligns correctly with O2C Post Goods Issue logic and downstream billing flows.
Define UK-specific exceptions and localisation requirements with minimal deviation from the global template.
Collaborate with offshore configuration and testing teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
Support EDI partner flow design and integration testing across customer-facing transactions.
Drive business readiness activities including training support and cutover preparation.
Ensure alignment with global architecture governance and CF template standards throughout.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITY REQUIRED

SAP O2C & SD Functional Design
10 15+ years of SAP O2C and SD experience covering the full order-to-cash cycle on S/4HANA.
Strong pricing expertise: condition techniques, pricing procedures, offer-based pricing and UK-specific pricing requirements.
ATP configuration and availability check design across planning strategies and checking rules.
Billing: billing plan design, invoice types,



billing due list management and revenue posting to FI.
Returns management: return order processing, credit memo flows and goods receipt handling.
Strong functional design and documentation skills: solution design documents, functional specifications and process flows.

Logistics & Weighbridge Integration
Experience with weighbridge or logistics execution integration within SAP O2C: PGI triggering, delivery processing and weight-based billing.
Understanding of outbound delivery, goods issue and the impact on downstream billing and revenue recognition.
Exposure to UK logistics and distribution processes including customer delivery scheduling and transport coordination.
Knowledge of SAP TM integration with O2C delivery and freight cost flows is advantageous.

EDI & Integration
EDI partner flow design and testing: customer order inbound, order confirmation outbound, delivery and invoice EDI flows.
Integration testing support across O2C touchpoints with MM, FI and logistics execution.
Experience managing integration defects and supporting resolution across cross-functional workstreams.

Global Template & Delivery
Experience in global template programme rollouts: defining core template design and governing country-specific deviations.
SIT and UAT support: functional validation, defect triage and business sign-off management.
Cutover planning: open order migration, master data readiness and hypercare stabilisation.
Business readiness: training material support, key user engagement and go-live preparation.
