We are seeking an experienced ETL QA Engineer with expertise in Data Warehouse Testing, Python automation, and SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating ETL pipelines, ensuring data quality, automating data validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Exposure to Databricks is an added advantage.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for ETL pipelines and data warehouse solutions.Build and maintain data validation automation frameworks using PyTest or other custom Python-based frameworks.Perform source-to-target validation, data reconciliation, transformation testing, and data quality checks.Write complex SQL queries to validate data and business rules.Validate dimensional models, including SCD Type 1 and SCD Type 2.Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Architects to understand requirements and data models.Identify, track, and resolve ETL and data quality defects.Participate in requirement analysis, test planning,



and Agile ceremonies.Required Skills4+ years of experience in Data Warehouse / ETL Testing.Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.Hands-on experience developing and maintaining data validation automation frameworks using PyTest or other custom Python-based frameworks.Strong SQL skills for backend data validation.Experience with source-to-target validation, data reconciliation, and data quality testing.Good analytical, debugging, and communication skills.Valuable to HaveUnderstanding of Databricks, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, or similar cloud data platforms.Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.Experience designing end-to-end ETL automation frameworks.API Testing (REST APIs)Additional InformationMinimum 4 years of relevant experience.15 years of full-time education required.Location: Hyderabad.
