About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing Fresher / QA Trainee to join our technology team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are passionate about software quality, testing, and learning up-to-date QA practices.

You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and senior QA professionals to identify defects, validate software functionality, and help deliver reliable and high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business and technical requirements and convert them into test scenarios.

- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test checklists.

- Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Integration Testing.

- Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps.

- Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing.

- Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve issues.

- Participate in test planning and daily QA activities.

- Maintain proper documentation of test results and defects.

- Validate application functionality across different browsers, devices, and environments.

- Learn and contribute to API, database, and automation testing as required.

- Continuously improve testing processes and product quality.





Required Skills

- Basic understanding of Software Testing / QA concepts.

- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.

- Understanding of different testing types and testing methodologies.

- Basic knowledge of SQL / Database Testing.

- Familiarity with API Testing is an advantage.

- Basic understanding of Jira or any defect-tracking tool.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have

- Knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or any automation testing tool.

- Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Knowledge of Postman.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

- Academic project or internship experience in Software Testing / QA.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply.

- Candidates with relevant software testing certifications or academic projects are encouraged to apply.
