As we scale our footprint across OEM partnerships and commercial deployments, we are seeking a visionary and hands-on Head of Information Technology to anchor, modernize, and safeguard our complete IT ecosystem.

Position Summary & Purpose

As the IT Head at Matel, you will hold complete operational, technical, and strategic ownership of our IT organization. This is a comprehensive leadership role designed for an experienced IT professional who thrives in a high-velocity manufacturing environment.

You will oversee end-to-end IT infrastructure, enterprise application management (ERP, MES, CRM), cyber security frameworks, vendor management, user support, and compliance. You will serve as the strategic bridge between corporate technology investments and plant-floor shop floor automation, ensuring 99.9% uptime, data integrity, robust security controls, and high-performance digital workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure & Operations Management

- Architect, maintain, and upgrade multi-site IT infrastructure, including servers, data centers, hyper-converged systems, switches, routers, firewalls,



and structured cabling across plant and corporate offices.
- Ensure 24/7 high availability, reliability, and security of company networks (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi), internet lines, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Implement and manage scalable backup systems, disaster recovery site (DRS), data storage architectures (NAS/SAN), and business continuity planning (BCP) with verified RTO and RPO benchmarks.
- Oversee endpoint management, software provisioning, asset management, and lifecycle replacement for laptops, desktops, printers, and industrial terminals.

1. Enterprise Applications & Digital Transformation

- Serve as the functional and technical owner of enterprise software applications (ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle/Tally Prime, CRM, HRMS, and PLM).
- Lead ERP enhancements, module integrations, process automation, and workflow optimizations across Production, Purchase, Stores, Finance, Quality, and Sales.
- Drive seamless integration between Shop-Floor Systems (MES, SCADA, IoT, Barcode/RFID Tracking) and Core ERP to ensure real-time visibility into manufacturing operations.
- Develop business intelligence dashboards, MIS reports, and executive analytics to empower data-driven decision-making.

1. Information Security, Cyber Security & Compliance

- Design, enforce, and maintain robust IT Policy Frameworks covering Information Security, Data Governance, Password Standards, Acceptable Use, BYOD, and Access Controls.
- Lead cyber security posture management: firewalls, endpoint detection & response (EDR/XDR), DLP (Data Loss Prevention), email security, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability assessments (VAPT).




- Ensure full compliance with relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 27001), statutory data protection laws, and customer/OEM IT audit requirements.
- Conduct regular security awareness training, phishing drills, and access right audits to foster a risk-aware organizational culture.

1. IT Governance, Budgeting & Vendor Leadership

- Formulate the annual IT budget (Cap Ex & OpEx), optimize technology spend, control software licensing costs, and demonstrate measurable ROI on technology initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end vendor relationships: SLA enforcement, hardware/software procurement, OEM license renewals, negotiation, and third-party IT service provider management.
- Define and track key IT performance metrics (KPIs/SLAs) for incident resolution, system uptime, project delivery, and user satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and build an agile, customer-centric internal IT team and helpdesk support organization.

Ideal Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- Education: B.E. / B. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or an MCA / MBA in IT Management.
- Experience: 12 to 18 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 46 years leading an IT department/team in a Manufacturing or Automotive component manufacturing setup.
- Manufacturing Domain Expertise: In-depth understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain logistics, shop-floor integration (MES/IoT/Barcode), and ERP ecosystem workflows.
- Infrastructure & Security Skills: Hands-on expertise in network architecture, firewall management (Fortinet/Sophos/Palo Alto), cloud environments, AD/DNS/DHCP, Office 365 administration, and cyber security tools.
- Certifications (Preferred): PMP, ITIL v4, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 LA, or certifications in AWS/Azure/CCNA.
- Leadership & Problem-Solving: Strong command presence, exceptional vendor negotiation capabilities, structured problem-solving approach, and ability to translate complex technology concepts into easy business solutions.
