POSITION SUMMARY AND EXPECTATIONS Drive the complete website experience, partnering closely with marketing to create visually compelling front-end templates and intuitive UX flows. Maintenance of the current website and then plan and lead the move from DNN to a modern platform. Help define how the new site should look and flow, choose the right architecture, build and integrate it, and turn analytics into clear actionable insights that help improve results. Partner with Marketing, IT, Sales, Product Management, Application Engineering, and vendors as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The statements below describe the general nature and level of work performed. They are not an exhaustive list. · End to end collaboration & design with internal teams on delivery: plan, build, integrate, and operate the website across front end, and UX. · Stabilize the current site: fix errors, broken links, 404s and redirects; improve speed and accessibility; tighten navigation and page structure. · User experience collaboration & design: lead discovery and UX planning; assist in definition site structure, layouts, components, and page flows; create wireframes or prototypes; validate with stakeholders and data. · Analytics to action: Translate findings from GA4 and Google Search Console analytics into actionable insights & changes. · SEO: implement titles, descriptions, headers alt text, internal linking, schema, robots rules, and automated XML sitemaps; monitor crawl and index health. · Plan the new site:
evaluate platform options and recommend the architecture. Define content models and the migration approach. · Lead the migration off DNN: map content and URLs; build reusable, responsive templates; set up staging and approvals; manage redirects; protect rankings and traffic during cutover. · Engineering and integrations: implement or integrate search, forms, product data, analytics, tag management, and authentication; set up environments, logging, and monitoring. · Release coordination and governance: partner with IT on security and integrations; manage version control, approvals, and rollback; maintain a design system and component library. COLLABORATION Partner with Marketing on content, UX, site structure, layout, components, & page flows. Partner with IT on environments, security, monitoring, hosting, DNS, and releases; document key decisions and releases so either team can operate the platform. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE · Bachelor’s degree preferred. · 5-8 years building and operating websites, including leading a platform migration. · Solid front-end skills; comfortable with modern CMS architectures and integrations; HTML, CSS, modern JavaScript; accessibility and performance. · Experience in using design tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud. · Hands on SEO and analytics experience with GA4 and Google Search Console. · Familiar with Git, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and basic security practices.
