Design Head – MEP Location: Warje, Pune Experience: 12–16 Years Age Preference: 35–45 Years Qualification: BE/B.Tech (ME/M.Tech preferred) Job Summary The Design Head – MEP will lead and oversee the complete design function for MEP projects, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and productive design delivery. The role involves strategic leadership, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement of design processes, standards, and team capabilities. Key Skills & Competencies Strong expertise in MEP systems (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and related design toolsIn-depth knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and statutory regulations Strong project planning, execution, and coordination skills Leadership and team management capabilities Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Effective communication and stakeholder management Ability to drive process improvements and standardization Roles & Responsibilities: Lead and manage the MEP design function across multiple projects Ensure timely delivery of accurate, high-quality design outputs Establish and enforce design standards, procedures, and best practices Review and approve design drawings,



layouts, and shop drawings Ensure compliance with client requirements, statutory codes, and quality standards Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and project teams for integrated design solutions Oversee design calculations, material selection, and technical specificationsIdentify and resolve complex design and technical challenges Monitor team performance, productivity, and deliverables Mentor, guide, and develop the design team Drive innovation and continuous improvement in design processes Maintain documentation, MIS reports, and audit readiness Support client meetings, presentations, and design reviews Authorities: Approve all design drawings, layouts, and technical submissions Lead and manage the design team and allocate resources Recommend and approve materials, specifications, and design changesInterface with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders on all design matters Escalate critical issues to senior leadership (VP – Design / Management) Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and statutory compliance standards
