We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Snowflake Developer with robust expertise in Big Data technologies, Spark ecosystem development, and Snowflake engineering. The ideal candidate should possess strong development capabilities using Scala, PySpark, SQL, and Python with practical experience in designing, developing, optimizing, and migrating enterprise-grade data solutions on Snowflake platforms.

This role requires a strong engineering mindset, independent ownership capabilities, and the ability to work in fast-paced data migration and transformation environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data warehouse solutions on Snowflake
- Develop and program within Spark ecosystems using Scala and PySpark integrated with Snowflake
- Build, enhance, and maintain robust ELT/ETL pipelines for enterprise data platforms
- Perform performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of Snowflake data pipelines and Spark workloads
- Analyze existing Big Data storage systems and architect modern Snowflake-based data solutions
- Migrate large-scale data workloads from on-premise databases and Big Data platforms to Snowflake
- Work extensively with distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark and Hadoop
- Implement data modeling, data integration, and query optimization best practices
- Develop advanced SQL queries for analytics, standardization, and transformation processes
- Ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-performance data engineering solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business users for technical delivery and solution ownership
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers where required

Mandatory Skills:





- Strong hands-on experience with:

- Strong experience in developing applications and data solutions in Spark ecosystems using Scala and PySpark on Snowflake
- Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience working on Big Data platforms
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience implementing Data Warehousing solutions on Snowflake
- Strong understanding of distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark and Hadoop
- Expertise in building robust ELT/ETL pipelines and tuning data processing workloads
- Strong knowledge of integration concepts and data engineering design best practices
- Hands-on experience in migrating enterprise data from on-premise platforms to Snowflake
- Strong data modeling and advanced SQL expertise
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in BFSI/Banking domain projects is an added advantage
- Exposure to enterprise-scale cloud data engineering environments
- Experience mentoring or leading data engineering initiatives

Important Note:

Candidates with primarily Informatica-to-Snowflake migration backgrounds or low-code/ETL-only migration experience will not be considered for this role. Strong hands-on engineering and development experience within Snowflake ecosystems is mandatory.
