Backend Software Engineer

We're looking for a Backend Software Engineer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot microservices, Kubernetes, and troubleshooting production systems. In this role, you'll build reliable backend services that power cybersecurity integrations, automation workflows, and data processing systems.

What We're Looking For

We'd love to meet someone who has strong backend engineering experience and enjoys building, deploying, and debugging production-grade microservices. You should be comfortable working with Java/Spring Boot, Kubernetes-based deployments, databases, messaging systems, and cybersecurity products.

Must-Have Skills

- Strong backend development experience with Java / JVM
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices
- Strong experience with Kubernetes / K8s and Helm deployments
- Experience with PostgreSQL / SQL
- Experience with Kafka and Kafka Streams
- Knowledge of dependency injection, configurations, Hibernate ORM, and JPA




- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across application and infrastructure layers
- Experience with logging, metrics, testing, and observability
- Awareness of cybersecurity concepts or experience working with security products

Technical Skills We Value

Bonus Points If You...

- Have worked in cybersecurity, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, IAM, or cloud security domains
- Have built integrations with enterprise systems or security platforms
- Have experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, or high-throughput backend services
- Have strong experience with root-cause analysis and production issue resolution
