Qualification

• MS Ophthalmology

• DNB Ophthalmology

• DO (Diploma in Ophthalmology)

• Valid Medical Council Registration

Experience

• Experienced candidates preferred

• Fresh Ophthalmologists may also apply

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and OPD consultations

• Diagnose and manage cataract, glaucoma, refractive errors, retinal, and other ophthalmic disorders

• Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries as per expertise

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care

• Prescribe medications, spectacles, and treatment plans

• Counsel patients regarding eye health and preventive care

• Coordinate with optometrists, technicians, and hospital staff for quality patient care





• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation

Skills Required

• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in Ophthalmology

• Good surgical skills (if applicable)

• Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities
