About the Role

We’re looking for a Video Editor Intern to support the creation of video and multimedia content across U.Labs and its portfolio of owned products and brands. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work directly with the marketing & media team — cutting reels, editing podcasts, supporting explainer video production, and experimenting with AI-powered tools as part of an active production workflow.

Key Responsibilities

Editing & Post-Production

- Edit short-form reels and social content optimized for platform-native engagement

- Assist on long-form video edits across founder-led content, product videos, and brand series

- Edit and clean podcast recordings — cuts, audio sync, pacing, and publishing prep

- Support explainer video production, working with motion graphics templates and visual assets

- Assist with color grading, sound mixing, and export across formats and platforms

Generative AI & Emerging Tools

- Create and assist with AI-generated video content using tools like Higgsfield, Midjourney, RunwayML, ElevenLabs, and similar platforms

- Experiment with AI voiceover, music, and synthetic media tools





- Stay current with evolving AI content tools and actively integrate them into your editing workflow

Collaboration & Coordination

- Work closely with the creative producer and collaborate with the marketing & media team on executing deliverables on set timelines.

- Take feedback and iterate quickly across multiple projects simultaneously.

- Organize and manage project files, assets, and exports across ongoing productions

Requirements

- Working knowledge of Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut

- Solid understanding of editing fundamentals — pacing, cuts, structure, and storytelling

- A portfolio or reel showing editing work — personal projects, college work, and passion projects all count

- Valuable ear for audio: levels, music sync, and basic sound design

- Familiarity with basic motion graphics (working with templates is sufficient)

- Some exposure to AI content tools — even self-driven exploration counts

- Based in Mumbai or able to commute in-office

Nice to Have

- Experience editing podcasts or audiogram-style content

- Familiarity with After Effects

- Understanding of platform-specific formats (Reels vs. YouTube vs. LinkedIn)

- Interest in brand, startup, or founder-led content
