Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and competent Senior Resident – Internal Medicine to provide comprehensive medical care to inpatients and outpatients. The candidate will be responsible for clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring of patients, and coordination with consultants and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed patient history taking and clinical examinations.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Attend to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions.
- Perform procedures within the scope of training and hospital privileges.
- Conduct daily rounds and ensure appropriate documentation of patient care.
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other departments for multidisciplinary patient management.
- Review and interpret laboratory and diagnostic investigation reports.
- Ensure timely referrals and escalation of critically ill or deteriorating patients.




- Communicate effectively with patients and their attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment, and clinical progress.
- Maintain accurate medical records and comply with hospital protocols and documentation standards.
- Participate in academic activities, case discussions, clinical meetings, and teaching of junior doctors/interns.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and quality-assurance standards.

Qualifications & Experience

- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- MD/DNB in General Medicine/Internal Medicine from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the relevant medical council.
- Candidates with relevant hospital experience will be preferred.
- Fresh MD/DNB candidates may also be considered.
