Job Summary:

KENT New Energy is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) Energy Storage Systems (ESS) to drive sales and market expansion in the assigned territory.

The ASM will be responsible for dealer and distributor network expansion, market coverage, channel management, customer acquisition, and achievement of primary, secondary, and tertiary sales targets across Home, Commercial, and Industrial ESS segments.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
- Develop and expand the dealer, sub-dealer, and channel partner network.
- Drive primary, secondary, and tertiary sales through the channel.
- Identify new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
- Develop relationships with dealers, distributors, EPCs, and institutional customers.




- Plan and execute territory-wise beat plans and regular market coverage.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.

Channel Management

- Build and maintain solid relationships with distributors and dealers.
- Ensure product availability and proper inventory planning at distributor level.
- Drive product visibility, branding, and promotional activities at channel outlets.
- Conduct dealer meets, product demonstrations, roadshows, and local market activities.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy credit discipline.
- Coordinate with service and technical teams for customer and channel support.

Team & Market Execution

- Manage and guide Field Sales Officers / Channel Sales Executives, where applicable.
- Set daily and monthly activity plans and monitor team performance.
- Conduct joint market visits and ensure effective market coverage.
- Track leads, sales pipeline, dealer performance, and business development activities.
- Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to the RSM.

Preferred Skills & Experience

- 4 to 8 years of experience in channel sales, distribution, or field sales.
- Experience in one or more of the following industries will be preferred:
- Energy Storage Systems (ESS)
- Lithium Batteries / LFP Battery Systems
- Solar Products / Solar EPC
- Inverter / UPS / Power Backup
- Renewable Energy
- Electrical & Power Electronics

- Existing dealer/distributor relationships in the assigned territory will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, relationship management, and sales execution skills.
- Good understanding of local markets and channel distribution.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, CRM, and sales reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence is preferred.
